Weight Room: Muscle of the Day #2
Today was another MOD. First we did Latissimus Dorsi and then we were free to do 7 exercises that help with our goal. (View back to goal post.) the exercises I did for the Latissimus Dorsi were T-Pulls, resistance band pull back and resistance band pull downs. When I did these exercises I did NOT feel the muscle I was working our pull at all! I don't know if I did something wrong. Regardless, my shoulders got a good workout. Afterwards I worked on some badminton exercises which you can refer to below. During these exercises, I felt it in my legs, back and core. This is good because those are what they were made for and it's good for the game. I did 20 of each exercise with a small break in between each to check for the next exercise. I think today was a good day. :)

Weight Room: Muscle of the Day
Today we were in the weight room doing the muscle of the day which was the biceps femoral. Exercises I did with others included squats, lunges, leg curls, some sort of back lift (not sure of the name) and using the leg push machine thing (forgot what that is called too, oops). It actually really hurt in that particular muscle because my legs are still sore from another day but I was able to do it without making my pain worse. Today I wish I could've done more activities that would stretch this muscle and that is something I hope to improve on with our next muscle of the day this coming Wednesday. Until then...
Blogs Overview
Some of the blogs I went through were incomplete. It is a little disappointing but some of them are really good. The blogs included pictures, videos, and large paragraphs on what they did that day and how the improved or how they planned to improve. One thing I can improve on based off all these other blogs is that I can probably increase the size of my post since mine are usually a few sentences. Other then that my blog and everyone else's seem relatively similar and I can see anything else I could do but add more and reflect more.
Fitness Day: Pond Relay
During fitness on Thursday we had a pond relay. I was in the walking group during this fitness because I hurt my legs previous gym day and running really hurts. I only walked around the pond twice. The system got messed up and someone else took my turn. I tried to work hard for this fitness day but there was no real way for me to work up a sweat and be tired. Hopefully next time it will be different.

Fitness Day: Extreme Yoga
Today was fitness day and yet again we did an activity that would make me sore. It was okay despite myself not liking yoga in the first place. I tried so hard to hold some of those positions but it just wasn't working. My arms and legs were just not strong enough to hold myself for that long it some of them. Definitely not my best day but I tried so hard to push through and do the best I could.

Capture the Flag/Speed Ball
Today was a fun day. It started out with capture the flag. When I play this game I'm more of a defence kind of person because I don't like when people come running at me. I got a ton of people out and my shoes got soaked through by the end. Speedball on the other hand wasn't as good. I'm not a fan of any sport requiring a ball. I always get hit. I was elbowed twice and nailed with the ball right in the gut but I still assisted a goal so I'm proud of myself. Next time I'd rather stick to capture the flag....

Gym Progress Report
I feel my progress this year over last year has been a little slower then last year. Despite not doing as high as I did last year in the beep test or run as much as I could before, I still aim for the best I can do no matter what. Even though I'm not a leader, trying to instruct activities or boss people around, I try to listen to the instructions, even if I can't hear them over the other kids talking. Gym strip is my everyday clothes most of the time so there will never be a day where you have to worry about me not being in the proper attire. Overall, I will always try my hardest in this class even if some days it takes me to the point of dizziness because I know dizziness only means I have worked my butt off that day. My goal for the next beep test is too continue to work up until I finally reach to where I was at before, an 8.1. In general I believe I deserve a G in this class for not only my efforts but in my sportsmanship as well. Even if no one else thinks that way, in my heart I will always know I am.

Fitness Day: Beep Test 2
This time on the beep test I did better then the first time! Not by much but it's still an improvement .
My scores were: Sit-ups= 39
Flexibility= 4
Beep test= 6.1
Balance= 14 touches in a minute
Plank= 43 seconds

Choice
For gym we had choice. Between the options of atomic volleyball, basketball and handball, I chose atomic volleyball because I really enjoy that the most out of the options. Though it was difficult to play in my Halloween costume, in the end I still was sweating a little. The problem I find the most with atomic volleyball is that the opposing team never seems to switch and it gets frustrating because we end up losing even though the other team isn't playing properly. All and all, I had a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again.

Dodgeball in the Small Gym
We did dodgeball in the small gym. It was really fun getting to play this, it always is. Other then some of us needing to improve our listening skills, I think that went swimmingly. I tried my best to pay attention to what people were saying but it was hard over the others talking and I hope next time it will work out better.

Fitness Day: Locomotion
The fitness day activity this time around was the Locomotion. Even though I wasn't able to make it all the way through, I still made sure to try my hardest and complete the days task as best I could. At the end of class I was tired and sweaty then come the next day I was sore and more tired then usual which is a good thing. I'm going to make sure that I push through better next time since this time didn't go as planned.

Fitness Day: Beep Test
Today we had the beep test. On the beep test I got the score of 5-5. Afterwards we did the extra exercise tests. Vertical jump: 220 250 30 Flex: 1 T: 12:88 Plank: 40s Push ups: 4 Board: 9.

P.E. Goal
My goal for this year in PE is to work on anything that can benefit myself for badminton and squash, for these are my favourite sports. I hope by the end of this year I would have achieved this goal.
